My name is Tracy Petersen! I am a mother of four, a CPA, and the owner of Details by Tracy. Although I began my career in public accounting, my passion has always been creating. I believe the details matter, are noticed, and are appreciated.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of styling many spaces including both commercial and residential spaces. I have also had the pleasure of designing the decor for lots and lots of events that range in size from 12 to 800 guests.
When I style a party, I want the guests to be WOWed with everything from the hanging decor to the napkin rings and those one off things they have never seen before. I believe this helps create an event to remember.
I view interior decorating in the same vein. A person's home is a reflection of them, a story of their style, and a place for memories to be made. Creating a space that is truly extraordinary, requires attention and dedication to the details.
I would love to help you create an event or interior that inspires you, brings you joy, and tells your story. My goal will always be to make you "over the moon" happy. I promise to be incredibly transparent with pricing and mindful of your budget (yep-that dorky accounting side) so that the experience is nothing but fun! Kelly Winckler- Planning & Marketing
Hi, my name is Kelly Winckler and I am in charge of event planning and marketing for Details by Tracy! I am a lifelong resident of the area, a UW graduate, and former Badger swimmer. I love the hustle and bustle of the isthmus and everything Bucky Badger. I enjoy working out (I am currently training for my 2nd Iron Man), hold the world record in the SkiErg (random I know), and am incredibly passionate about event planning.
Throughout my career I have planned and managed several events including weddings, grand openings, corporate events, annual galas, charity events, and milestone celebrations. For me, planning an event is exciting and lots of fun! I am crazy about lists, am super organized, hard working, diligent, and detail oriented. I believe a well planned event is like a well choreographed dance.
I would love to help you plan your next event! As your planner, your event will be my top priority. You and your tastes will always be at the forefront and I will work with your service providers to ensure that your vision for the day of is brought to life.
